If the doctor suspects that something is wrong with the patient’s medical condition, they may order a blood or urine test. They can also perform a variety of other tests, such as an electroencephalogram or a magnetic resonance imaging scan. If a nervous system issue is suspected, they may order a CT scan or an MRI.
A complete written questionnaire or take a verbal test may be required. These are generally used to assess mental health.
