Good Governance

Good governance is equally important for NGOs. It involves establishing policies, procedures, and systems that ensure transparency, accountability, and ethical behaviour within the organization. Effective governance structures help prevent corruption, mismanagement of resources, and other forms of malpractice that can undermine an NGO’s credibility. NGOs with strong leadership and governance are better equipped to attract funding from donors who want assurance that their contributions will be used effectively. Such organizations are also more likely to build partnerships with other stakeholders such as governments, businesses, and civil society groups.
